Rwandan musician Isacco will perform his new single in Paris next month

Murwanashyaka Nzabonimana, better known to his fans as Isacco, is a Rwandan-born, Kenyan-raised artist currently residing in Paris. Later this year, he will release a daring new album to commemorate his African background.

The project skillfully combines global musical influences, Kenyan rhythms, and Rwandan customs. Isacco’s personal story and his commitment to preserving African art from the diaspora are both reflected in it.

Isacco will make his eagerly awaited comeback to the stage on July 4 at the legendary Casino de Paris, where he will serve as the opening act for well-known Ivorian artist Debordo Leekunfa, before to the album’s release. “To share this stage is an honor,” Isacco remarks. “For me, this is a preview of the next phase of my sound, not just a comeback.”

Additionally, a brand-new song from his next album will be given an exclusive premiere for showgoers.

Isacco views the process of getting ready for live performances as a ritual rather than merely practicing. He says, “I put my all into every aspect: the energy I give the audience, my stage presence, and the vocals.” “Every performance gives me the chance to tell my story and establish a genuine emotional bond with my audience.” His dedication to providing genuine, exuberant presentations has resulted in genuinely unforgettable live performances.

Isacco’s profound regard for his cultural heritage lies at the heart of his music. “No matter where I am, music is my lifeline to Rwanda,” he claims. By working with other African musicians, interacting with diaspora groups, or incorporating ancient sounds into modern songs, Isacco continues to preserve his ancestry while continuously pursuing new artistic endeavors.

After his concert in Paris, Isacco will release what he calls his most ambitious and intimate record to date. “Everything I’ve experienced, including my past, present, and the music that still inspires me, is reflected in this project,” he says. The album is anticipated to be a significant turning point in his developing career, with a number of intriguing collaborations already planned.
