Nuno Espirito and Forest Sign a Three-Year Contract Extension

Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager of Nottingham Forest, revealed on Saturday that he has extended his contract with the team until the summer of 2028 after helping the team qualify for a European competition for the first time since 1995–96.

Prior to joining Forest in December 2023, he managed Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Portuguese helped the squad escape relegation and subsequently guided them to seventh place in 2024–2025, their greatest top-flight season in thirty years.

Forest missed out on a Champions League berth and had to settle for a spot in the Conference League playoffs after finishing one point behind fifth-place Newcastle United.

After agreeing to the new three-year contract, Nuno released a statement saying, “I am delighted to be able to continue our journey at this fantastic football club.”

“We accomplished incredible things last season because of the tremendous effort we put into forging a unique link between the players, the supporters, and every member of the club.

As we attempt to create more memorable moments together, now is the time to put in more effort than ever before.
