Rashford and three other players are frozen out by Manchester United

Manchester United had a challenging 2024–25 season, losing the Europa League final and placing 15th in the Premier League. In an effort to start over, new coach Rúben Amorim will not include four players in the team’s forthcoming preseason trip to the United States.

Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Marcus Rashford are some of the players. Although Rashford has performed well while on loan at Aston Villa, he is not part of Amorim’s plans and is expected to join Newcastle, Barcelona, or Inter. Although Antony, who is presently on loan at Betis, has improved, moving to Manchester United will cost money. Many suitors are interested in Sancho, who is currently on loan at Chelsea and is searching for a new team. Despite having a successful season, Garnacho and his previous boss had a falling out. His transfer is challenging because of his projected current worth of €80 million.

These four players, who were left out of the US trip, have an uncertain future as Manchester United gets ready for the upcoming campaign. The club’s intention to restructure the team under Amorim’s direction is shown by their absence.
