Blankets & Wine June Edition Canceled Over Safety Concerns

Blankets & Wine has canceled its June edition, which was initially scheduled for June 29th, 2025, due to the current turmoil and the planned statewide rallies on June 25th, 2025.

Prioritizing the safety of participants and employees, security consultations identified the situation as unstable and high-risk, leading to the decision to cancel.

Blankets & Wine is still optimistic and determined to hold its festival versions in Bradford and Nairobi in September. In addition to expressing regret for the inconvenience, the organization advised everyone to exercise caution in the days ahead.

Blankets & Wine reaffirmed its fundamental purpose of “creating and holding space for joy” in spite of the cancelation of this eagerly awaited event, reaffirming their support for Kenyans during this trying time.

All ticket refunds, including proportionate reimbursements for season ticket holders, will be processed within 14 working days.
