Joycelyn Savage’s family responds to R. Kelly’s request for a pardon

Savage’s family said that she hasn’t communicated with them since 2019.

Joycelyn Savage’s family is adamantly opposed to R. Kelly’s request for a pardon because they feel she is still in his control, according to Gerald Griggs, a lawyer for the Savage family.

Having not heard from Joycelyn since 2019, he informed TMZ that they are retaliating against Kelly’s plea for Trump’s pardon.

Savage’s parents, Jonjelyn and Timothy, told TMZ in 2021 that they had to contact Kelly’s staff in order to get in contact with the now 29-year-old when her grandfather passed away. “There was absolutely no response,” her father remarked.

In response, Joycelyn’s mother said, “We need to hear from you directly.” We have consistently received information from third parties. Timothy went on, “Everyone wants to think she’s grown. Allow me to hear from an adult female.

Joycelyn uses “prison calls” as her primary means of communication, which Jonjelyn explained means “the calls are scripted and [monitored].” Given that Kelly is incarcerated, her parents begged to speak with Joycelyn “as a family” in private.

Timothy declared, “All of these enablers must step aside.”

Kelly’s legal team representative, Beau Brindley, told TMZ that they are “not willing to discuss Joycelyn right now because they want to focus on the singer and what’s happening to him.” Kelly was “forced” into solitary confinement before being admitted to the hospital.

At the very least, he wants to be placed under home arrest or be pardoned. According to Kelly, Trump might agree to his request since “he understands how it feels.” His attempts at a pardon were described by federal prosecutors as “deeply unserious” and “repugnant.”

In 2021, the crooner was found guilty in a federal court in New York of sex trafficking and racketeering. He was found guilty the next year of luring children for sex in Illinois and producing child pornography.
