Cuba Gooding Jr. says he is praying for Diddy as he is being tried for sex trafficking: “I’m not a judge”

Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr., who was previously connected to a Diddy lawsuit, says he is praying for the music mogul, Cassie, and the alleged victims during the ongoing federal trial.

Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is choosing prayer over judgment as Diddy is facing federal sex trafficking charges, despite the fact that his name was mentioned in a previous litigation involving the Bad Boy owner.

When the Academy Award winner was interviewed by TMZ at LAX, Gooding acknowledged that it’s difficult to ignore the headlines.

He remarked, “You turn on your TV and it’s everywhere.”

While acknowledging the seriousness of the charges, Gooding, 57, stressed compassion for all parties.

“As I previously mentioned, I offer prayers for Cassie and her family, the brother, and the victims,” he said. The only thing I can do from the perspective of a bystander is that.

Gooding was dropped from a legal complaint against Combs in 2023, but his name was referenced in passing. Despite their prior relationship, Gooding claims he is not here to make judgments.

He admitted that it was difficult, yet he felt pity. He without sin, they say, casts the first stone. No one is judged by me.

After a juror complained of vertigo symptoms on Wednesday, the trial was put on hold. Judge Arun Subramanian said the trial would resume on Friday after the Juneteenth vacation.

Even if the legal drama involving one of the most influential people in music is still going on, Gooding’s response represents a larger appeal for humanity.
