Dani Alves Secures Legal Victory in Child Support Case
Dani Alves just won a court battle despite his off-field troubles. The former Barcelona and PSG player, who is incarcerated for sexual assault, has retrieved €628,000 that was taken from him in a child support case involving his ex-wife, Dinorah Santana.
Spanish courts decided that the sum had been unfairly withheld and decided in favor of Dani Alves.
For the Brazilian, whose reputation has been overshadowed by legal issues since his retirement, this ruling represents a rare positive turn.
His name used to reverberate among Europe’s elite clubs because to his spectacular runs and trophy haul, but these days it is more often associated with scandals and litigation disputes.
