Osimhen is persuaded to join Liverpool

Popular football expert Ally McCoist believes that before the 2025–2026 Premier League season begins, Liverpool should make a serious move to acquire Nigerian dynamo Victor Osimhen.

Manchester United and Arsenal, who are both eager to strengthen their hitting departments before the new season begins, have been linked to the prolific striker in recent weeks.

The Saudi Pro League also expressed interest in Osimhen, but the Galatasaray forward chose to remain in Europe rather than accept the lucrative offer.

However, McCoist claims that Osimhen would be “perfect” for Liverpool, who may alter their offensive line before the new season starts.

McCoist told TalkSport, “I think Osimhen would be absolutely perfect at somewhere like Liverpool,” according to Empire of the Kop.

“He would be fantastic at Liverpool, in my opinion.”
