Nicki Minaj Attacks JAY-Z, the NFL, and Shannon Sharpe in “Banned From NO” Remix
Nicki Minaj criticizes the NFL, JAY-Z, and Shannon Sharpe in a heated remix with Lil Wayne.
Nicki Minaj used her free time today to stir things up.
Within days after Tha Carter VI’s release, she shocked fans on Tuesday by appearing on the remix of Lil Wayne’s “Banned From NO” without any of her or Drake’s appearances.
Due to the absence of both Young Money stars, many people speculated online that there might be more going on behind the scenes.
But the Barb herself made some unexpected remarks, one of which put social media in a chokehold: “If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.”
She followed up with X in order to unravel it. She commented, “You’re not that smart if I send you a picture of Shannon.”
Yes, n*gga, you did think I had forgotten that “Nicki who” thing. J/K.
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEE. “Just by being around your crazy tail self, Ochocinco nearly got a strizzy,” she continued.
For excluding Lil Wayne from the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in his native New Orleans, Nicki also took aim at JAY-Z and the NFL. The NFL should fire some n*ggas before calling us, she rapped.
The remix, which marks her first collaboration with Wayne since Pink Friday 2, offered fans the unrepentant Young Money vibe they had been lacking.
Perhaps Drake will release a surprise remix soon.
