BTS members hint at the K-Pop boy band’s comeback following their military discharge

RM and V of BTS, who were released from the South Korean military, hinted at the K-pop group’s impending comeback.

Both celebrities finished their required duty on Tuesday after being drafted on December 11, 2023.

Fans at the military post welcomed the two and even gave them a salute, hinting at a “really cool performance” when the boy band returns.

V said to the journalists and ARMY fans in attendance: “I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of the ARMYs who have waited for us in the military.” Please give us a little more time, and we’ll be back with an amazing show.

J-hope and Jin had already finished their military duty.

It is anticipated that Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook will complete theirs later this month.

In an April interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1, J-hope hinted at their impending comeback by saying, “We will promptly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future.” It’s going to be a huge energy, I think.

“When our members finish their service in June, I look forward to it.”

During their two-year break, all seven members of the group have published separate projects, which J-hope believes has helped them all forge their unique personalities.

As each of us worked on our own music, released solo projects, and pursued our own interests, I believe that we all developed our distinct identities over time, he stated.

For me, the amusing part is when our many identities come together as BTS.

“I want to know what [the reunion] will look like.”

The vocalist of “On the Street” learnt a lot and was proud of his military experience.

I think it’s only natural for South Korean youth to assume this duty,” he remarked. In my opinion, it played a crucial role in J-Hope’s (Jung Ho Seok) life.

In actuality, I’ve learned a different life, and it’s a different experience. In many respects, I also met people from many walks of life and was surrounded by positive energy. I also heard a lot of positive things.

Furthermore, you should realize that a year and a half is not a very small period of time. That passage evoked a lot of emotions in me. Ultimately, I believe the most significant thing was realizing how much the work I have been doing for so long means to me.
