Actor Justin Baldoni promises to keep up his legal battle with Blake Lively, his co-star

Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the 41-year-old actor’s $400 million countersuit against his It Ends with Us co-star, her husband Ryan Reynolds, the couple’s publicist Leslie Sloane, and the New York Times newspaper on Monday. The accusation was that the former co-star was causing her “severe emotional distress.”

Bryan Freedman, his lawyer, emphasized that they will be revising their complaint and that they still have issues to fight for.

In a statement, he told Us Weekly: “Let’s be clear about the latest ruling. Ms. Lively and her team’s predictable declaration of victory is false.”

“The Court has encouraged us to amend four of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will present more evidence and more precise allegations, even though the Court dismissed the defamation-related claims.

“This case involves fabricated allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation, and a smear campaign that never happened, which Ms. Lively’s own team conveniently characterizes as ‘untraceable’ since they are unable to provide proof of what never occurred.”

Additionally, the attorney is “confident” that Justin will still prevail in his legal battle.

With the facts on our side, we move forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her allies started this battle, and we look forward to her upcoming deposition, which I will be taking,” he continued. “Most importantly, Ms. Lively’s own claims are no more true today than they were yesterday.” We appreciate the public’s natural outpouring of support as well as the commitment of the Internet sleuth community, which has continued to cover the case with objectivity and integrity.

After the judge’s decision, Blake promised to continue advocating for women.

“Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organizations united in defending women’s rights to speak up for their safety,” she posted on Instagram. I have experienced the hurt of a retaliatory lawsuit, along with the fabricated humiliation that seeks to shatter us, just like a lot of other people.

Even if the lawsuit against me was dropped, many people lack the means to defend themselves.

“I’m more determined than ever to keep advocating for every woman’s right to speak up for her own safety, integrity, dignity, and narrative.

“There are safeguards in place. For resources and information, have a look at some of the amazing organizations listed below.

“With love and appreciation to everyone who supported me, including many of you I know. I don’t for many of you. However, I will always be grateful for you and will continue to support you.

Blake’s message included connections to groups like Women’s Justice NOW, Women’s Equal Justice, the New York Cyber Abuse Task Force, and the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women.

The Gossip Girl star’s lawyers, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, celebrated the judge’s decision as a “full vindication” for the actress.

“Today’s opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times,” they claimed in a statement that People was able to get.

Justin’s countersuit, which targeted Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds, the couple’s publicist Leslie Sloane, and the New York Times newspaper, was called a “sham” by the lawyers.
