A Florida man is accused of raping a 97-year-old bedridden hospice patient on a ring camera

A man who is suspected of raping a 97-year-old bedridden woman under his care has been arrested following a horrific discovery at a Florida house. What’s even more startling is that her worried niece captured the assault on camera.

According to an arrest complaint provided by Local 10, Timothy Morris, 66, of Homestead, allegedly attacked the nonverbal victim who is receiving hospice care. In the statement, her niece attested to the fact that she is bedridden and nonverbal.

According to court documents examined by People, Morris is accused of sexually assaulting a physically disabled individual. According to authorities, he routinely assisted with the victim’s treatment while hospice professionals were not there.

The niece installed a Ring camera in the victim’s bedroom when a hospice nurse spotted an odd discharge near the victim’s intimate area, setting off the alarm. The niece checked the video after receiving an alert from the camera on April 30.

According to Local 10, the arrest report stated that she reportedly witnessed Morris raping her aunt.

Morris is being held without bond at a correctional institution in Miami-Dade after entering a not guilty plea.
