Due to Hurricane Milton, Usher has to cancel shows in Florida

There will be no shows by Usher in Miami because of Hurricane Milton, which caused Florida to declare a state of emergency.

The tropical storm has been upgraded to the strongest category five hurricane. It is expected to hit the south-west coast of the state on Wednesday night, and more than a million people have been told to leave. Because of safety concerns, Usher has canceled his shows at Miami’s Kaseya Center.

The 45-year-old musician wrote on Instagram, “Last minute changes to my Miami shows at the Kaseya Center; they will now be in December because of the state of emergency in Florida.”

“The safety and well-being of everyone is still my top priority, and I’d rather celebrate with you all when it’s safe for everyone to get to and from the show.”

“Praying for everyone who has been hurt by this natural disaster.”

He wrote, “Florida, stay safe” under the picture. I’ll see you soon.

Before, Usher’s shows were set to happen on October 11, 12, and 14. Now, they will happen on December 16, 18, and 19 at the same place.

Hurricane Milton comes along just a few weeks after Florida was hit by Hurricane Helene.

US President Joe Biden has canceled trips to Germany and Angola so he can oversee emergency plans. He also told people who live in the storm’s path to leave, saying, “It’s a matter of life and death, and that’s not hyperbole.” It’s really important…

“God willing, this storm might not be the worst to hit Florida in more than a hundred years, but it looks like it could be right now.”

In a similar message, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said, “Let’s prepare for the worst. Let’s pray that we get a weakening and hope for the least amount of damage as possible. But we must be prepared for a major, major impact to the west coast of Florida.”
