La Liga punishes Atlético supporters severely
One of Atletico de Madrid’s fan bases might depart. La Liga has chosen to take action against the ultra group “Frente Atlético” in response to the events that transpired during the Atlético vs. Real Madrid rivalry.
Marca claims that the Javier Tebas-led organization plans to file a lawsuit and exert pressure on the Colchoneros to dissolve the group.
Recall that these individuals belonged to the “Fondo Sur,” which is the Civitas Metropolitano’s southern bend, and were notorious for hurling objects at Thibaut Courtois.
Last Friday, La Liga not only closed the stand for three games but also gave the Commission against violence in sport a letter with incriminating proof. The Spanish league’s stated goal is to terminate the “Frente Atlético.”
