A WHO official has reported that Sudan has experienced over 300 cholera-related fatalities
A World Health Official stated on Friday that the bacterial disease has claimed the lives of over 300 individuals in the region, and the humanitarian crisis resulting from the civil conflict in Sudan is only exacerbating infections such as cholera.
In a media call, Margaret Harris, a member of the World Health Organization, reported that 11,327 cholera cases had resulted in 316 fatalities. Additionally, she noted that dengue fever and meningitis infections were on the rise.
