Argentine prosecutors have charged former President Fernandez in an alleged abuse case, according to local media
Argentina’s federal prosecutor’s office has officially charged former President Alberto Fernandez with the alleged infliction of severe injuries upon his ex-partner and former first lady, Fabiola Yanez, according to local media outlets on Wednesday.
Yanez, who resides in Spain with their son, lodged a complaint against Fernandez before a magistrate last week alleging that she endured gender-based violence. Information outlet Infobae published images of Yanez that appeared to depict her with a black eye and other injuries.
Fernandez has denied the allegations which have been leveled against him.
