Harambee Stars move up to at least four places in the latest FIFA rankings
On Thursday, April 4, Kenya moved up four places in the latest FIFA rankings.
According to the latest rankings, Harambee Stars are placed at the 107th position, after Mauritania and Namibia, which are placed at the 105th and 106th positions.
This is a big development for the national team, which failed to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, falling to 111th place in the FIFA rankings in February as champions after hosts Ivory Coast were eliminated by Nigeria in the final.
Harambee Stars finished 2023 in 110th place, but following a strong performance in the four-nation tournament, Engin Fırat’s men have made significant progress in the FIFA rankings.
