The Government of Tanzania to give the Dubai company the Mwendokasi project

The Commissioner for Partnership between the Public and Private Sector (PPP), David Kafulila has said that DART will sign an agreement next month with the Emirates National Group (ENG) Company of Dubai to run Phase 1 of the Mwendokasi Bus Project in Dar es Salaam.

Kafulila said that the ENG Company can be given the operation of other Phases of Mwendokasi if the first phase of its operation is successful.

ENG currently operates Public Transport Services in the UAE and Egypt, with over 1,000 Passenger Vehicles.
