Subaru Recalls Over 118,000 US Vehicles Citing Faulty Air Bag Sensors
Auto manufacturer Subaru issued a huge recall of possibly 118,723 vehicles after the company declares a sensor that triggers airbags may be defective, causing airbags not to deploy in a crash.
The National Highway Transportation Security Administration announced Subaru of America, Inc. prepares to recall some 2020-2022 Outback and Legacy automobiles. The company has concerns over the vehicles’ occupant-detection system, which it states can short-circuit or even break, triggering the front passenger airbag to be unsuccessful.
