Liverpool has reached an agreement to sign PSG’s Barcola in a deal valued at up to £123 million, according to reports
Liverpool have completed an agreement to acquire French forward Bradley Barcola from European champions Paris St Germain in a deal valued at up to £123 million ($166.43 million), according to media reports on Saturday. The 23-year-old is poised to join Andoni Iraola’s squad as the latest notable addition.
The 20-time English champions are set to pay a package totaling £106 million, with potential add-ons that could increase to £17 million for Barcola, according to the BBC. The Athletic reported that he is poised to sign a five-year contract.
Barcola joined PSG from his boyhood club Olympique Lyonnais in 2023 and subsequently experienced a successful period in the French capital, securing consecutive Champions League titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26, along with three Ligue 1 championships and two French Cups, among other accolades.
He made 152 appearances across all competitions for PSG, scoring 39 goals and providing 37 assists.
He had two years left on his PSG contract.
Barcola would be the most recent addition to the new manager. Andoni Iraola’s squad follows the close-season arrivals of Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo on loan, French center back Jeremy Jacquet, and Spanish forward Victor Munoz.
Liverpool’s offensive choices Currently, the Merseyside club includes British record signing Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and Munoz as they adjust to life following the departure of talisman Mohamed Salah. Forward Hugo Ekitike is currently out due to a long-term injury.
Liverpool will welcome Nottingham Forest later on Saturday.
