Hunter Biden revealed in an interview that the condition of the 83-year-old former president has become painful and debilitating. “The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and beyond,” Hunter Biden stated. “It’s quite distressing and significantly limiting in various ways.”
A spokesperson for Biden chose not to provide any comments regarding the interview on Saturday.
Biden disclosed in May 2025, just under four months after departing from the White House, that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had already metastasized to his bones.
At that moment, Biden expressed that he and his family were navigating the diagnosis with the assistance of his doctors and the support of their loved ones.
A spokesman later revealed in October that the former president was receiving radiation treatment and hormone therapy as part of his medical care.

Biden’s health became a significant concern throughout his presidency from 2021 to 2025, as his physical condition and mental sharpness faced growing public examination.

Biden departed from office in January 2025 after choosing not to pursue re-election and was succeeded by Trump.
Despite facing health challenges, Biden has persisted in making occasional public appearances. In June, he was present at the dedication of former President Barack Obama’s presidential library in Chicago.
Biden was the vice-president under Obama from 2009 to 2017 before securing the presidency in 2020.
His presidential memoir is set to be published on November 17.
