Four individuals were stabbed in what appears to be an incident related to mental health near Covent Garden in London

Four men were stabbed in a street close to London’s Covent Garden district on Wednesday, and a woman was arrested in what police described as a “mental health-related incident.”

The woman, in her 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and assault, and she remains in custody. “Officers seized a pair of scissors at the scene,” the police statement added.

Four men, aged 34, 39, 42, and 52, were discovered with stab wounds and received treatment at the scene before being transported to a nearby trauma center, according to a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service.

The incident occurred on Endell Street, located approximately a quarter of a mile from London’s renowned Covent Garden square, a hotspot for tourists and famous for its street performers.
