Davido has unveiled ‘ORIADÉ,’ marking the release of his sixth studio album

Davido has unveiled his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, which comprises 13 tracks and includes collaborations with both African and international artists.

Afrobeats star Davido has unveiled his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, a 13-track project that represents his latest artistic endeavor and includes collaborations with artists from Africa and beyond.

The album debuted on Friday, July 31, following the singer’s announcement of its release weeks prior via his social media channels. ORIADÉ includes collaborations with Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay, marking Davido’s sixth studio album.

Confirming the release on social media, Davido stated, “The kingdom expands.” The album showcases a lineage of musical greatness throughout its tracks.

ORIADÉ consists of 13 tracks, marking it as the briefest studio album in Davido’s career. His last five studio albums each featured 17 tracks.

The project features the previously released singles I Know Who I Be, which includes contributions from JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, as well as Gimme Dat Ting with NO11. I Know Who I Be reflects on Davido’s 15-year journey in music, while Gimme Dat Ting blends Afrobeats with Amapiano.

In a recent interview with the American media platform Notion, Davido expressed that the album caters to various listeners.

The tracklist includes the following songs: “On The Road,” “Amazing Grace” featuring Black Sherif, “Julie,” “Constantly,” “I Know Who I Be” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11, “B4 B4” featuring Mayorkun and FOLA, “Already Falling,” “Tell Everybody” featuring Leon Thomas, “Yaya” featuring Aya Nakamura, “Zanzibar,” “Guide,” and “My Light” featuring Llona.

Davido has begun to announce dates for a world tour in support of ORIADÉ, anticipated to take place following the album’s release.
