BYD’s sales have increased for the third consecutive month, supported by exports

Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD experienced a rise in global sales for the third consecutive month in July, as strong overseas demand continued to counterbalance the softer conditions in its domestic market.

Total sales increased by 21.8% compared to the previous year, reaching 419,211 vehicles last month, as reported by Reuters based on BYD’s official statements on Saturday.

In July, BYD’s overseas shipments of passenger vehicles and pickups surged by 124.3% year-on- year, reaching a total of 179,841 units.
