LeBron James is set to make two appearances at Fanatics Fest in New York this week, amid ongoing speculation regarding where the NBA’s all-time leading scorer will play next season following his reported exit from the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 41-year-old four-time NBA champion is anticipated to be present at the sports fan festival at the Javits Center, where he will engage in live recordings of two of his well-known shows. His appearances coincide with uncertainty about his NBA future, as he has indicated a desire to continue his career with a different team in what would be his 24th season in the league.

On Thursday, James will record a live episode of his Mind the Game podcast with Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton. He is set to record an episode of The Shop on Friday, having participated in the event last year to discuss the program.

James has yet to make a public announcement regarding which franchise he intends to join for the upcoming season. His agent, Rich Paul, has indicated that the top contenders are the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Golden State Warriors.

Any announcement about his next destination at Fanatics Fest would attract considerable attention, reminiscent of his highly publicized 2010 television special, The Decision, where he disclosed his departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat.

That decision led James to join forces with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in Miami, resulting in the trio securing two NBA championships. The decision also signified the start of a streak that led James to eight consecutive NBA Finals.
