She remembered her heart racing when Chelsea showed up, observing that her daughter appeared “wonderful,” “healthy,” and “calm,” with “rested blue eyes” and “clear skin.” Rosie observed their embrace and quickly became distracted by a toddler who was visiting another inmate, which led her to mention that Chelsea’s four children had not yet come to see her.
