Ramos has signed a five-year contract with AC Milan

Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos has signed with AC Milan from Paris St. Germain on a deal that extends until June 2031, as announced by the Serie A club on Tuesday.

Milan invested over €70 million ($80 million) in the striker, making him the club’s most expensive player, according to Italian media reports.

Ramos marks the inaugural significant acquisition under the guidance of new coach Ruben Amorim, as Milan aims to reconstruct following a lackluster season that saw them miss out on Champions League qualification.

Ramos progressed through the youth systems at Olhanense and Benfica, ultimately making his senior debut for Benfica in 2020. He made over 100 appearances for the Lisbon club, netting 41 goals and contributing to their victory in the Primeira Liga during the 2022-23 season.

The 25-year-old joined Paris St. Germain in 2023 and made 131 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side, scoring 45 goals and contributing to the club’s success with 12 trophies, including two consecutive Champions League titles.

Ramos played a role in the concluding moments of Portugal’s initial Group K draw against the Democratic Republic of Congo during the World Cup on June 17.
