IMF has granted approval for nearly $350 million in funding for Congo

The International Monetary Fund announced on Friday that it has approved approximately $348.5 million in funding for the Democratic Republic of Congo following the completion of reviews of programs under its Extended Credit Facility and Resilience and Sustainability Facility.

The third review of the ECF-supported program unlocks approximately $258.2 million, while the second review under the RSF permits a disbursement of around $90.3 million, according to the IMF.
