‘I Will Find You’ has emerged as Netflix’s most successful series debut of 2026, attracting 24 million views
Harlan Coben’s adaptation ‘I Will Find You’ has soared to the top of the Netflix charts, garnering an impressive 24 million views just four days after its release.
Harlan Coben’s latest Netflix adaptation, I Will Find You, has emerged as the streaming platform’s most successful new series launch of 2026, amassing 24 million views in just its first four days of release.
Netflix announced that the mystery thriller secured the top spot in its global television rankings for the week of June 15 to June 21, though the company did not clarify the specific timeframe it considered for defining a “debut.”
The limited series features Sam Worthington in the role of David Burroughs, a father who is serving a life sentence for the supposed murder of his son five years prior.
According to the official synopsis, Burroughs has steadfastly upheld his claim of innocence. The narrative shifts dramatically when his sister-in-law, Rachel, portrayed by Britt Lower, reveals evidence indicating that his son might still be alive.
The revelation propels Burroughs into a frantic search for answers, compelling him to break free from prison and untangle an intricate web of deceit in his pursuit of the truth.
The series marks the newest endeavor in Coben’s enduring collaboration with Netflix, which has brought to life 13 adaptations of the bestselling author’s works, alongside another adaptation, Myron Bolitar, that is currently in the works.
The impressive debut further solidifies the success of Coben’s works on the platform. His earlier adaptation, Run Away, achieved four weeks in Netflix’s global Top 10 rankings and garnered 38 million views during that time.
Following I Will Find You on this week’s English-language television chart were Outlast: The Jungle, Sweet Magnolias, and America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Meanwhile, The Four Seasons, created by Tina Fey, has maintained its position in the Top 10 rankings for a fourth consecutive week, accumulating an additional 1.6 million views to its total.
On the non-English-language chart, Teach You a Lesson topped the rankings with 11.8 million views in its third week, while The Polygamist followed closely, recording 7.7 million views in its second week on the platform.
The performance of I Will Find You highlights the lasting appeal of Coben’s mystery-driven storytelling and Netflix’s ongoing success with adaptations from books to screen.
