Moschino has appointed Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as its new creative directors

Italian fashion brand Moschino has announced the immediate appointment of Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo as creative directors, taking over from Adrian Appiolaza, as stated by parent company Aeffe (AEF.MI) on Sunday.

Here are some additional details:

Milan Fashion Week in September will unveil Messina and Rizzo’s debut for Moschino.

The duo departed from Sunnei, a brand they established in 2014, in September of the previous year.

Adrian Appiolaza, appointed as creative director of the Italian luxury brand in 2024, left the company on Friday, as reported by Aeffe. “Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo have the necessary qualities to take on this challenge: a modern creative vision, a profound cultural sensibility, and the capability to cultivate relevant and unique creative languages,” stated Aeffe’s executive chairman, Massimo Ferretti.
