Big Meech Faces Allegations of a Hidden Daughter Seeking DNA Test
A Florida woman has initiated a paternity lawsuit against Big Meech, seeking court-ordered DNA testing to confirm whether he is her biological father.
Court records indicate that Beyla Richard-Flenory filed the case in December, claiming she has long held the belief that Meech, whose real name is Demetrius Flenory Sr., is her father. She is requesting the court to permit genetic testing to establish parentage.
In the filing, Richard-Flenory expressed that years of uncertainty and ongoing denials have resulted in considerable emotional distress. She noted that earlier efforts to reach out to members of the Flenory family yielded varied reactions, with some showing support and others seeming dismissive, which has further complicated her quest for clarity regarding her parentage.
Richard-Flenory stated that she is not seeking financial assistance or any monetary compensation. She expressed to the court her desire for truth, acknowledgment, and the dignity that accompanies a definitive legal ruling.
Alan Soven, an attorney for Meech, stated that his client refutes the allegation but has consented to undergo DNA testing. The attorney stated that both parties are ready to proceed with a genetic examination that may definitively resolve the issue.
Big Meech gained national recognition as a founder of the Black Mafia Family, an organization subsequently linked to federal drug-trafficking prosecutions. Recently, there has been a resurgence of public interest in his life and legacy, fueled by television dramatizations and references within hip-hop culture.
The lawsuit now shifts attention to a personal family issue instead of entertainment news. If testing continues, the results may yield a definitive answer and bring resolution to a dispute that has allegedly lingered for years.
