Ariana Grande’s latest album, “Petal,” is set to be released on July 31
Ariana Grande’s eighth studio record, “Petal,” will be out on July 31. She describes it as a journey of personal growth during challenging times.
Ariana Grande has announced that her eighth studio album will be called Petal. It will be out on July 31 through Republic Records.
Grande and director Ilya Salmanzadeh worked together to write and oversee the production of the project.
She said that the record showed how she had grown through challenging times. Grande described the song as “something full of life that grows through the cracks of something cold, hard, and difficult.”
Ilya, a Swedish-Persian producer, has worked with Max Martin on several projects in the past.
Besides that, he helped create Grande’s 2024 album Eternal Sunshine.
Grande has been teasing the project with studio photos over the last few months.
The news comes after years of work on the Wicked movie project and its follow-up. During that time, Grande also released Eternal Sunshine and its 2025 deluxe version. She will embark on a summer tour in June.
At first, the tour was linked to Eternal Sunshine, but now it may also include music from Peta, which is her upcoming album set to release later this year. Grande has said before that the tour could be her last for a long time. In an interview, she said, “The last 10 or 15 years will look very different from the ones that are coming up.”
She also said that she sees the tour as her last big run before taking a long break from performing.
