Oprah Winfrey Introduces Podcast, Book Club, and Iconic TV Vault on Amazon — Here’s When You Can Tune In

Oprah Winfrey is once again broadening her media empire by establishing a significant new partnership with Amazon, which will consolidate several of her signature brands in one place.

The entertainment icon has entered into an exclusive multiyear agreement with Amazon, encompassing her podcast, book club, favorite products franchise, and classic television catalog. According to the agreement, Amazon’s Wondery podcast network will manage the distribution of both video and audio, as well as the advertising sales rights, for “The Oprah Podcast” on various platforms.

The agreement grants Amazon rights to “Oprah’s Book Club,” “Oprah’s Favorite Things,” and the complete archive of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” covering 25 seasons. The financial terms of the arrangement remain undisclosed.

This summer, “The Oprah Podcast” will increase its frequency from one weekly episode to two. Beginning in July, Wondery will distribute the show through Prime Video, Amazon Music, Fire TV Channels, and Audible. The podcast will continue to be accessible on YouTube and various prominent podcast platforms.

Winfrey expressed her enthusiasm regarding the partnership in a statement.

“Hosting this podcast enables me to pursue the work I am passionate about — facilitating important conversations.” Conversations that remind us of our shared experiences and encourage us to understand ourselves and each other more deeply. Embracing the opportunity to expand our global reach, we continue to connect through stories that encourage new perspectives and, ideally, foster deeper understanding.

Steve Boom, an executive at Amazon, also commended the partnership.

“Oprah Winfrey has created one of the most recognizable and enduring brands globally, encompassing television, publishing, and more,” he stated. “This partnership with Harpo Entertainment allows us to amplify her voice and enhance the ways her audiences connect with Oprah, utilizing the unique capabilities that only Amazon can provide.”

Launched in December 2024, “The Oprah Podcast” showcases conversations with cultural leaders, bestselling authors, and notable public figures such as Serena Williams, Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson, and Jeremy Allen White.
