Lil Nas X admits to having feelings for women, but he has never engaged in a sexual relationship with them
Lil Nas X discussed his personal life in a recent podcast, revealing honest insights about his sexuality, relationships, and his perspective on attraction.
On a recent episode of Outlaws with TS Madison, released Tuesday, the rapper and singer discussed dating experiences and identity. In the course of the conversation, Lil Nas X expressed that he “99 percent leans towards men,” while clarifying that he does not entirely dismiss the chance of forming intimate connections with women.
“What I mean is, if there’s a night of drinking, I’m enjoying myself…” he stated. “I’ve experienced feelings, but they tend to be more emotional regarding women rather than sexual, typically.”
He elaborated that he prefers not to impose strict limitations on himself and mentioned that he frequently feels a social and emotional connection with women. “I’ve never been intimate with a girl,” he confessed.
Lil Nas X shared his perspective on attraction, highlighting that physical chemistry can occur without it necessarily resulting in sexual activity.
“Everyone can tell when someone is attractive,” he went on. “I believe I would be more inclined towards kissing or something similar.”
During the interview, the Grammy-winning artist tackled speculation that has followed him previously, including allegations of queerbaiting. He reflected on his early rise to fame, sharing that prior to the release of his breakout 2019 single “Old Town Road,” he had only been intimate with two people.
Lil Nas X emerged as one of the most prominent LGBTQ artists in the music industry following his public coming out in 2019. Since then, he has gained recognition for defying conventional norms in hip-hop and pop culture through striking visuals, distinctive fashion choices, and prominent performances.
The artist has been in the news lately for his music as well as his legal issues. Earlier this month, it was reported that he was mandated to engage in a mental health treatment program due to charges related to an arrest involving Los Angeles police last year.
His most recent interview contributes yet another personal chapter to a career frequently characterized by transparency, transformation, and public dialogue.
