Ice Spice’s attorney pledges to take action following an unprovoked assault at a Hollywood McDonald’s
Ice Spice was part of a physical altercation inside a McDonald’s in Los Angeles early Wednesday, as indicated by footage and statements released on Thursday. A video has surfaced that appears to show the rapper sitting in a booth with a friend when a young woman approached and tried to join them.
Video evidence shows that Ice Spice and her companion chose to avoid the interaction and signaled for the woman to depart. Shortly thereafter, the woman reportedly hit the artist, leading to a tumultuous situation as bystanders stepped in and patrons navigated through the restaurant. Footage captured outside seems to depict ongoing disputes between the groups as they moved across the street.
According to TMZ, a phone discovered on the ground might have sustained damage during the altercation. There was no immediate independent police confirmation of that allegation.
Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, stated, “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD, and we will be pursuing all avenues to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions, both criminally and civilly.” We are considering holding the location accountable for its insufficient security measures.
Vayah, a woman reported by TMZ as involved in the incident, provided a contrasting version of events. She alleged that Ice Spice was impolite when she attempted to greet the performer, stating that the rapper referred to her as a “b***h” before she reacted physically. As of Thursday afternoon, authorities have yet to announce any arrests or charges related to the dispute that occurred in Hollywood on Wednesday morning, with the situation still under review.
