Swae Lee Resolves Paternity Case Discreetly Following Allegations He Was Not Present in His 3-Year-Old Son’s Life

A lengthy legal dispute involving Swae Lee has concluded quietly but definitively, as both parties have arrived at a confidential settlement, according to court documents.

The rapper notified a Florida judge that a private agreement had been reached, successfully addressing all unresolved matters related to a paternity claim concerning a 3-year-old child. The case, having been mostly dormant recently, now concludes without a public trial or official ruling on the allegations.

Court documents indicate that Swae Lee did not admit or deny the allegations made against him, a legal stance that keeps the initial claims unverified while permitting both parties to proceed.

The conflict started in 2023 when Marla Naranjo submitted a petition to recognize the rapper as the biological father of her son, Karter Naranjo. In her initial complaint, she asserted that Swae had not “been involved in the child’s life at all” and contended that his career demands rendered him “unable to provide a stable environment.”

Naranjo also referred to an alleged “history of misconduct,” suggesting that the court proceedings would later address it. In addition to her claims, she pursued primary custody and asked for monthly child support, arguing that the child was “entitled to a share” of the rapper’s financial success.

In spite of the gravity of the allegations, the case experienced minimal public activity following August 2025, when Swae first suggested that settlement talks were in progress.

Swae Lee, recognized for managing a prominent music career alongside a burgeoning family, is already a father to two other children from earlier relationships.

The matter has been resolved privately, and the specifics of the agreement are kept confidential, bringing this chapter to a close without additional public examination.
