OJ Da Juiceman Released From Jail After Diabetes Health Scare

The rapper is back home following a medical emergency and is getting ready to continue his music career.

Atlanta rapper OJ Da Juiceman has been released from custody after several weeks in jail following his arrest in March. Amidst his ongoing legal challenges, he is now concentrating on his recovery and his music career.

While incarcerated, the rapper faced a significant medical crisis due to his Type 1 diabetes, necessitating his transfer to Grady Memorial Hospital for immediate care. The management team has expressed strong concerns regarding the incident, contending that his health was unnecessarily jeopardized during his time in custody.

“While in custody, OJ experienced a significant medical issue due to his Type 1 diabetes,” his representatives noted, adding that he is now “doing perfectly fine on the outside now that he’s able to receive his proper insulin injections.”

In the face of adversity, the artist continues to forge ahead. Rueben Wood, OJ Da Juiceman’s manager, stated that the artist was in the process of creating new music before his arrest, and fans can look forward to those tracks being released soon. He is also intending to return to the stage for live performances in the near future.

The rapper’s legal team is actively contesting the charges brought against him, which arise from an alleged road-rage incident with a Georgia State Patrol officer that occurred earlier this year. A witness has submitted a sworn affidavit that challenges the police account, indicating that the rapper was not driving the vehicle during the reported confrontation.
