Britney Spears teases an international tour, saying, “I will never perform in the United States again”

The pop icon shares how her viral dance videos have helped her “walk through the fire” while revealing plans for international performances.

American fans shouldn’t wait for a local tour date because Britney Spears is prepared to perform once more.

The Princess of Pop declared that she is completely done performing in the US in a shocking Instagram post on Thursday. Britney stated that although her own nation is off-limits, she has her sights set on the UK and Australia, citing “extremely sensitive reasons.”

A nostalgic picture of Britney playing a white Yamaha piano—the same one she played at her legendary 2002 American Music Awards performance—was included with the news.

Britney’s high-octane choreography from her 2018 Piece of Me tour is very different from her idea for her comeback. “I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon,” she said, describing a more private scene.

This change comes after the singer said for years that the trauma she experienced during her 13-year conservatorship would probably prevent her from ever performing again.

The singer of “Toxic” also paused to discuss how the audience has responded to her regular dance videos on social media. Britney clarified that the movement is therapeutic for her, despite some fans’ worries.

She revealed, “Interestingly enough, I dance on Instagram to heal things in my body that people have no idea about.” “Yes, and it can be embarrassing at times, but I survived by walking through the fire.”

It seems like Britney is now deciding to share her light on her own terms after years of being restricted in her freedom, even if it requires going halfway around the world to do so.
