Julia Roberts Discloses Odd New Year’s Resolution Associated With Almonds

Julia Roberts is cutting back on her nut intake for the new year!

In her most recent interview for 2026, the well-known actress discussed certain facts and stated her intention to change a certain food item that frequently shows up in her life out of nowhere.

In an interview over ten years ago, Julia Roberts revealed her daily eating plan, which excludes nuts unless her team believes it is a fixation she developed along the road.

Bulk almond nuts aren’t exactly Julia Roberts’ thing.

The media celebrity told the magazine that she was first perplexed by the fact that on shoots, she frequently encountered progressively larger quantities of almond nuts. Roberts demonstrated that although she does not have a strong craving for almond nuts, she does love them.

She compared her predicament to George Clooney’s dislike of cheesecake, which he has had for years after seeing it wherever he goes, in his most recent film, “Jay Kelly.” She claims that the film inspired her to write her staff and ask for a review of the services they provided. As she told Deadline:

“In the new year, one thing I would really like to do is review any and all riders that pertain to me in this world, because I think it might be time for a little reset on the almonds.'”

The two have worked together on a few projects and have been friends in the business for decades. They will now get back together for “Oceans 14” with other celebrities from the highly regarded show. 

Roberts gushed about the joint, saying that their schedules finally lined up and they had time to realize their goal for the first time. That’s George’s statement. I work for him. The actress said, “There are a lot of things to think about, but when George gets his act together, things happen.”

In October, Clooney provided an update on the progress of their filming, highlighting that they had recently received financial approval from Warner Bros. The only thing left to do is set up the ideal time to begin filming.

Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt will work on the project alongside Roberts and Clooney. The father of two commented on the film: “There was something about the idea that we’re too old to do what we used to do, but we’re still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me.”

The Hollywood celebrity revealed to PEOPLE in 2017 that she ate a diet high in protein and occasionally mixed in cookies to satiate her desires.

During the conversation, Roberts expressed her unwavering passion for pasta and admitted that she frequently substitutes some delicious noodles for chicken at lunch. 

Eggs over easy, sourdough toast, avocado, blueberries, coffee, and coconut water make up her filling breakfast to start the day. She changes things up for lunch by serving grilled chicken with salad, which is a pleasant choice. 

The actress typically eats a light dinner consisting of rice, avocado, wine, and wild fish. Roberts always remembers to have a bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the day and a lovely chocolate chip cookie as a snack after her meals. 

The 58-year-old does not intend to direct a film.

Roberts has acted in numerous films, earning her accolades and fame throughout Hollywood. She has been in front of the camera for years and has played a number of parts, including a prostitute, which helped her become well-known in the profession, but she has no intention of taking over behind the camera.

When asked if she would ever direct during the premiere of her “August: Osage County,” she said, as reported by E! Online:

“Any housewife will probably tell you that you’re directing almost all the time, therefore I’ll continue with in-house directing. For me, it is too much. It’s excellent for me that I enjoy both being a homemaker and an actress.

The actress said that in addition to her acting skills, she enjoys spending much of her time in the kitchen preparing delicious meals.

The Blast reported in 2024 that Roberts gave an explanation for her decision to always appear completely dressed in all of her film roles.

The actress said she made the decision on her own, but she wanted to serve as a reminder to other women who might feel under pressure to strip in front of the camera.

She clarified, however, that her counsel did not serve as a means of condemning or crucifying people for their decisions. Roberts also believes that her innate ties to feminism are a deeper calling that underpins her determination.

She disclosed that she conducted a holistic family tree research and discovered that she is a DNA cousin of feminist icon Gloria Steinem. In earlier interviews, the celebrity disclosed that she wears the clothing for the sake of her children.

“You should expect it to be toned down if you ask me to do it because you know it’s not really what I do. As a mother of three, you know, I feel that way,” Roberts said in closing.
