Sabrina Carpenter released the most annoying songs of 2025, according to a study

The pop star’s hits Sugar Talking and Tears were the most unpleasant releases of the previous year, according to researchers at the website Seat Pick, who used a “annoyingness index” to rank the biggest songs of the previous year.

Four main criteria were used to rate the songs: repetition and lyrical filler (repeated syllables like yes, la, and uh).

The index indicates that 46% of listeners were annoyed by Sabrina’s songs.

Azizam by Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga’s The Dead Dance are two more songs that are considered to be bothersome.

With record-breaking albums, viral TikTok hits, and musicians stretching the limits of genres, 2025 has been a spectacular year for music, according to Seat Pick.

Some songs, nevertheless, have also generated discussions about how annoying they are, ranging from repetitiveness to “harmonic dullness.”

According to the website, “Sabrina has continued to achieve notable streaming numbers and strong social media traction, and has celebrated a highly successful year overall – earning multiple awards, including Pop Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and Best Pop Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards.”

It has been advised that those who were unhappy with the outcomes not to worry.

According to Seat Pick, “Annoyance is listener subjective.”
