Megan Thee Stallion Issues a Court Order to Silence Blogger Milagro Gramz

Rapper requests that the judge step in, citing persistent online insults, harassment, and worry for their safety.

Megan Thee Stallion is making a strong statement when she returns to court: a verdict does not mean the end of the legal war.

The rapper is now requesting court-imposed limitations to stop blogger Milagro Gramz from talking about her or interacting with her in any way after winning a slander lawsuit.

According to court documents that Complex examined, Megan’s lawyers filed a motion for a permanent injunction against Milagro Gramz, also known as Milagro Cooper, on December 17.

According to the complaint, Megan has suffered severe emotional trauma as a result of the blogger’s persistent online activity, and she continues to worry about her physical safety and wellbeing.

The proposed court ruling would have stringent restrictions in place for a period of five years. Gramz would have to keep at least 500 feet away from Megan at all times and would not be allowed to speak to her directly or indirectly as a result of the request. Additionally, the blogger would be prohibited by the injunction from disseminating or publishing any identifying or private information pertaining to the rapper.

A prohibition on disseminating the deepfake video of Megan that was used in the previous trial is one of the extra safeguards outlined in the request. Additionally, Gramz would not be allowed to speak in public regarding Megan’s testimony, mental health, alcohol use, or family members. Additionally, any remarks meant to incite animosity or encourage harassment of Megan would be forbidden.

Megan’s legal team is requesting that the court order Gramz to stop any online stalking and in-person harassment, as well as to remove any posts and statements that were a part of the defamation lawsuit. According to the complaint, Megan would continue to be at risk of danger that would be exacerbated by the blogger’s online following if these precautions weren’t taken.

Additionally, according to the injunction request, Gramz conspired with Tory Lanez, who is presently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the July 2020 killing of Megan. According to the document, “an injunction is essential to protect Ms. Pete against the threat of harm posed to her safety and well-being by Defendant’s conduct.”

Weeks after a jury found in Megan’s favor on all defamation allegations, this most recent action was taken. Gramz was first ordered to pay $75,000 in damages; this amount was then lowered to $59,000. Megan was seen saying she was “happy” with the case’s outcome on video from the court sessions.

The judge’s ruling regarding Megan’s request for a permanent injunction could be a turning moment in her attempts to put this chapter behind her and take back control of her public persona.
