Young Thug At A Benefit Concert, He Proposes Mariah The Scientist
The artists appear to be about to jump the broom.
Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist deserve congratulations!
The rapper proposed to the singer-songwriter at his benefit show, “Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends,” after they had been dating intermittently for four years.
In front of the audience at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Tuesday night (Dec. 16), Thugger stopped the schedule of events to pop the question. The lyrics “Will You Marry Me” flashed on the background screen as the 34-year-old rapper got down on one knee and held out a huge ring.
The 28-year-old singer spun around and joyfully announced, “I guess I’m getting married,” before kissing her new fiancé as the audience applauded and Mariah replied, “Yes.”
The timing couldn’t be more ideal for Young Thug. Mariah discussed her wish to settle down during a backstage conversation with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez over the weekend.
She declared, “I want to be married.” That’s my strategy. I am unable to speak for everyone. But that’s my strategy. I’d like a child. I’d like to have at least one. Starting with that, I’ll see how I can handle it.
She also mentioned how much she would love to have a child of any kind. “I’ll begin with that and assess my capacity for management.” All I want is a commitment that isn’t tied to having a child. I only want it to be out of love and not obligation.
Thugger announced that he and Mariah were splitting up back in October. “Ni**a, I got broke up,” he said to live streamer Adam Ross. “I have a girl.” I have a female, but she probably doesn’t have a boyfriend. Shortly after, the couple seemed to have resumed their romance, and the artist told TMZ that they were “still going strong.”
I’m happy to see that everything has been forgiven and that the couple’s relationship is progressing. I’m wishing them happiness and love!
