Aubrey O’Day Admitted to Hospital Following Netflix Viewing Diddy Documentary

The singer claims that she had to leave a Danity Kane tour engagement due to intense emotional and physical reactions.

This week, Aubrey O’Day had an unexpected health crisis that prevented her from attending a Danity Kane reunion tour stop.

The singer disclosed that she was hospitalized and left shaken after experiencing significant physical symptoms while viewing the Netflix documentary series Sean Combs The Reckoning.

O’Day has been outspoken about her experiences with Diddy for a long time, particularly when she was a member of Making The Band, which she has called a difficult moment in her life.

She claimed that although seeing the 50 Cent-executive-produced documentary series brought up unpleasant memories, she was able to view them with fresh insight and context.

O’Day told TMZ that during her stay at the emergency department on Wednesday, the incident left her with “vertigo, fever, dizziness, migraine, chills, and vomiting all night.” Fortunately, she has since been freed and is getting better.

“Watching everything on Netflix happen in public and seeing aspects of a world I only knew through my own narrow perspective was like living it again, but this time with context and truth outside of me,” O’Day remarked. “Seeing the pieces come together from a distance outside of myself has felt like my nervous system was reliving everything with more clarity than I ever even asked for. I didn’t think it would traumatize me the way it did.”

The singer also responded to criticism from followers and admirers who said she ought to have performed in spite of her illness.

She remarked, “I never want to let my DK sisters or the fans down, so it breaks my heart.” “But I’m excited to be with my girls for our show in Connecticut on the 13th.”

O’Day’s story highlights the lasting consequences of prior trauma and the negative impacts that reliving it, even years later, may have on one’s physical and emotional well-being.
