Erika Kirk Issues a Caution to Candace Owens as Conflict Intensifies Between the Widow and Her Late-Husband’s Friend
Erika Kirk has firmly called for an end to the conspiracy theories that have been swirling around her husband’s death. During a town hall that will be broadcast on a prominent news outlet later this weekend, the mother of two made the statement.
Her remarks seemed to be partially aimed at political analyst Candace Owens, who has been one of the most well-known voices circulating rumors regarding the right-wing influencer’s murder.
Candace Owens already commented to Erika Kirk’s comments from an earlier interview, but she hasn’t specifically addressed this most recent statement.
Candace Owens is cautioned by Erika Kirk against speculating on Charlie Kirk’s death.
Since the September assassination of Charlie Kirk, there has been a lot of conjecture surrounding the event, with political pundits like Candace Owens circulating stories that make headlines.
Turning Point USA, the group the right-wing influencer managed before his death, has been accused of betraying Owens, who says he was friends with Charlie.
In an apparent attempt to bolster the claim that Charlie’s death was the result of an inside operation, she has also made baseless accusations regarding the organization’s financial situation.
In a town hall that will air on CBS on Saturday, Erika, Charlie’s wife, who had previously kept quiet while Owens and other conspiracy theorists propagated rumors about her husband’s passing, has finally spoken out on the matter.
She urged these people to cease spreading such conspiracy ideas, but she did not say whether they would face legal repercussions if they persisted.
“Cease. That’s all. All I can say is that. The mother of two told Bari Weiss, editor-in-chief of CBS News, to stop.
Candace Owens claimed that the widow’s request over her husband’s burial location caused her to experience “Meghan Markle Syndrome.”
Owens has not yet responded to Erika’s warning, but it is unlikely that the threat would have the desired impact because, according to Newsweek, Owens had already conducted a critical study of an earlier interview Erika made with Fox News Channel’s Outnumbered.
When Erika answered questions about her husband’s burial spot during one portion of the conversation, she demanded solitude.
In her Wednesday podcast, Owens went on to say that the mother of two had good reason to request privacy.
Erika’s request, in her opinion, was “going to be read as Meghan Markle syndrome…where you want privacy when you want it, but you want publicity whenever you want it, and that just doesn’t work.”
“This is the same person who…had somebody record her over Charlie Kirk’s casket,” Owens continued of the recently appointed CEO of TPUSA. “That was not our business, truly…the decision to publish that, you crying over your husband’s casket, and to publish his dead body on Instagram was a decision that was made by Erika.”
Erika Kirk faced criticism for not having enough time to address theories regarding Charlie’s demise.
Erika said she didn’t have time to respond to the conspiracy theories in her appearance with Fox, calling it all “noise.”
She added that she and her crew were occupied with construction at the time, which appeared to be the reason she hadn’t been paying much attention to the hypotheses at first.
Owens responded by enumerating Erika’s most recent public appearances before contending that the mother of two did have time, but she just didn’t think the inquiries concerning her husband’s passing were important.
Owens said, “She has time,” regarding Erika on her program. “It is just what she means to say, not her priority.” The political analyst went on to say, “Responding to the majority is not her priority.”
Erika Kirk’s late husband’s close friend also questioned her ability to run TPUSA.
Owens questioned the entrepreneur’s capacity to lead TPUSA in other parts of her harsh critique of Erika’s interview.
When Erika urged conspiracy theorists to cease making unfounded allegations about Charlie’s employees, whom she referred to as family, she responded by making the statement.
“[Erika is] expanding the wings of people that we’re not allowed to critique because they’re in the family,” Owens stated.
“I hate to say this…but this is why there are many people who do not believe that women are equipped to lead companies,” she stated. “Because what you are watching here is an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic.”
“Don’t try to like mom the organization and say, ‘well, mother’s upset because people are coming after her kids and all of the multi-million-dollar subsidiaries,'” Owens added.
Erika Kirk attacked influencers who were making thousands of dollars by pursuing her loved ones.
In a Fox News interview, Erika criticized conspiracy theorists who target her employees and claim they were responsible for Charlie’s demise.
“My silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the handpicked staff that loved my husband and my husband loved them is somehow in on it,” she stated to host Harris Faulkner.
Erika went on to emphasize that although she doesn’t mind criticism, she would not tolerate her employees and loved ones being attacked.
“I don’t care whether you come after me or call me names. “Go down that rabbit hole, call me whatever you want,” Erika said. “What happens when you target the individuals I care about, earning hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode, because they are somehow complicit in this? No.
