Meek Mill reveals that during the Drake feud, Young Thug was the only rapper who held him back

The Philadelphia rapper pays tribute to Thugger onstage for his devotion and encouragement throughout one of the most trying times in his career.

Meek Mill publically thanked Young Thug for his support amid Meek’s well-known dispute with Drake during his Friday show in Philadelphia.

As Meek described how Thugger supported him when he thought the music industry was drifting away, the audience roared.

An dramatic onstage performance that included multiple guest appearances, including G Herbo, Tierra Whack, 42 Dugg, and Young Thug, preceded the heartfelt tribute.

Meek considered how long their friendship had endured. “I got to know Slime around 2012,” he said to the audience. Many musicians avoided working with him when he was involved in the spat with Drake, he clarified.

But Thug was one of the few that stood by him no matter what.
