Pusha T formally announces his retirement from diss tracks, saying, “It’s Just a Bunch of Noise”

Pusha T is prepared to permanently end his diss tracks career. The rapper from Virginia, who is well-known for his incisive lyrics and legendary rap feuds, claims he has no interest in participating in lyrical back-and-forths any more.

He said to Consequence, “I’ve kind of been through that chapter and I’m over it.” “At this point in time, I don’t even want to collaborate on music, but I still want to include or feature other people in my music.”

Pusha is currently concentrating on his work with Clipse, which he claims is at a higher level of creativity.

“I think what we’re doing with Clipse right now is really advanced. The flavor level, in my opinion, is superior to everything else. You understand what I mean when I say that I dislike the world of people and back and forth, even though I am enmeshed in it. If we don’t agree, there are probably things I don’t want to be there about.

He believes that the entire diss track culture has lost its significance.

I think it’s kind of dead. There was a certain winner, which is the equivalent of what a diss tune used to bring. The last man standing would be the one to truly bow out. There’s just a lot of noise now. It’s still noise even when we identify winners. And you think, “Dude, what’s it for?”
