There Will Be More Sexual Assault Lawsuits Against Kevin Spacey
The period since Kevin Spacey’s comeback to Hollywood has been turbulent. According to the BBC, a judge has set a preliminary trial date of October 12, 2026, in response to allegations that he assaulted three men between 2000 and 2013.
One of Spacey’s accusers, an unnamed individual going by the handle “LNP,” claimed that Spacey “deliberately assaulted” him twelve times in the early 2000s during a five-year period.
In the meantime, “GHI,” another victim, claimed that the Academy Award winner had abused him in 2008, causing both financial loss and serious psychological harm.
Notably, Spacey was sued by “GHI” in 2022, but the case was put on hold after the actor was charged with a crime. Ruari Cannon, who said that Spacey molested him during a 2013 party at the Old Vic, is the third man to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct.
These similar charges were previously made against Spacey by Cannon in 2024. But the actor brushed them off, calling them “ridiculous and it never happened.”
Despite Spacey’s denial of all wrongdoing, the three allegations will either be tried in three separate cases or in a single trial in October of next year.
Kevin Spacey Explains His Alleged Homelessness
Spacey confirmed claims that he was homeless a few days before to the announcement of his upcoming sexual assault lawsuit.
According to sources, the “House of Cards” actor was homeless because of financial difficulties because he had previously talked about staying in hotels and Airbnbs.
According to The Blast, he clarified the situation on social media by stating, “I don’t usually make it my business to correct the media.” I wouldn’t have much time for anything else if I did, but I feel compelled to reply given the recent publications that suggest I’m homeless.”
He said, “Not to the press, but to the thousands of people who’ve reached out over the past few days, offering me a place to stay or have just asked if I’m ok.”
He clarified that although he was moving between multiple residences, he wasn’t truly homeless as some people had assumed.
In the midst of financial difficulties, Spacey was moving between hotels.
After Spacey disclosed that he had given up his Baltimore house and placed his belongings in storage, rumors circulated that he was homeless.
He acknowledged that his revenue had significantly decreased and that he was alternating between short-term rentals and hotels.
Spacey told The Blast that his expenses have risen to “astronomical” levels, with “everything going out” and “very little money coming in.” Even though he hasn’t officially filed for bankruptcy, he said that things were “not great” for him.

Being involved in several sexual misconduct allegations has probably prevented Spacey from finding much work, which has contributed to his precarious financial predicament.
The actor has previously been accused of sexual misconduct in addition to the most recent charges. A documentary on Spacey’s alleged misdeeds was broadcast in May 2024 last year.
According to The Blast, the movie was made to “explore never-before-heard experiences and emotional testimony around allegations against the Oscar-winning actor for over three decades, tracing back to 1981,” which includes “first-hand accounts from multiple men who have previously not shared their stories publicly.”
