According to Fieri, his doctor was taken aback by the extent of his wound and acknowledged that in his years of experience, he had never seen a tear of that size. The celebrity is currently recovering after emergency surgery for his wounded thigh while using crutches and a wheelchair.

In order to speed up his recovery, the culinary expert also stated that he would need to refrain from bearing weight on the area for eight weeks before attending physical therapy, according to PEOPLE.
