CAF launches the AFCON 2025 Diaspora Tour in London and Paris
The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Diaspora Tour, a dynamic exhibition aimed at bringing the continent and its international diaspora together via the love of football, has formally begun, according to the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF).
The Diaspora Tour is being hailed as a potent cultural movement that connects Africa with its sons and daughters who are dispersed throughout the world, rather than merely a marketing campaign.
The tour will visit two major locations: YOYO, Palais de Tokyo in Paris on December 4, and Below the Lights, Piccadilly Circus in London on November 28.
The magnificent AFCON trophy, whose presence represents much more than just symbolic silverware, is at the center of this endeavor.
The trophy reminds all Africans that the ultimate reward of their biggest football spectacle belongs to them, regardless of where they live, and it serves as a symbol of pride, solidarity, and continental belonging for millions of people throughout the continent and in the diaspora.
The trip, according to CAF, is a celebration of shared identity driven by football, music, and culture—a moment where tradition and heritage collide.
It honors the long-lasting bond between Africa and the diaspora, which is embodied in each game, goal, and shout that resonates from Lagos to London, Casablanca to Paris.
In addition to celebrating the African football icons that have become well-known throughout Europe, the festivities will pay tribute to the diaspora groups that have been instrumental in showcasing African talent internationally.
The Diaspora Tour, according to CAF, exemplifies the solidarity and passion that characterize African football as the road to AFCON Morocco 2025 officially gets underway, guaranteeing that the continent’s largest sporting event is celebrated not just in Africa but also everywhere that Africans call home.
