Eunice Lema, a Kenyan gospel sensation, releases her eagerly anticipated sixteenth studio album, “Wambumya Vaasa”

Eunice Lema recently signed a contract with Universal Music Group East Africa and revealed her debut project under the prestigious label, following her performance at the Mashujaa Day festivities in Ukambani.

The album’s title, “Wambumya Vaasa,” has deep meaning and means “God has brought me far.” It chronicles her journey, victories, and setbacks while praising Christ, who has played a significant role in her long career in music and ministry.

The Thanksgiving song “Maovu” is one of the tracks in the album. The message of the song is that everything is possible as long as you have confidence in God. According to Eunice Lema, “as long as you believe in Him, He is able to deliver you and He will protect you,” regardless of the illness, poverty, or other difficulties we face in life.

The CD also includes Christmas-themed tracks, like “Yesu Nisiaye,” which honors the birth of Jesus Christ.

In essence, it is an appeal for people to commemorate the day of Jesus’ birth. I discuss it because He has shown me kindness and given me this gift, and I want others to join me in remembering His birthday, says Eunice.

Eunice, whose longevity has made her a career icon, is thrilled to present her most recent work and to have signed with the world’s largest record label. She hopes that more people will be able to hear her songs.
